Startrekk Information
Saddle Structure
Structure

Our Startrekk Saddles are high quality treeless saddles, which conform to the horses back nicely and let you enjoy a really close feel, yet provide plenty of stability to ensure proper weight distribution along the horses back without causing any pressure points. The Startrekk Treeless line of saddles have a rigid, interchangeable fork (many designs available, from baroque to Western fork, etc. see sizing information below. Or a fully adjustable fork (1 design only) is also available. Ideal if you want to use the same saddle on many horses.

Fork Width
Fork Width

The Fork on all of our Startrekk saddles is interchangeable and comes in a variety of sizes to help you find the best fit for your horse. On some models, it is possible to build in our fully adjustable fork system, which means the fork never has to be exchanged in order to change the fork's width and can be done via a small Allen Wrench. There's a discrete slot to insert the Allen Wrench into and you can widen or narrow the fork just like that!

To determine which Fork size you will need, please download our instructions and the gullet width measurement template for the fork you would like to use with your saddle:

Saddle Leather

When we make your saddle, we are committed to using only the best vegetable tanned leather we can get our hands on. We are offering a large variety of colours to choose from, leaving you with only one question: which one is your favourite? The appearance of your saddle is greatly influenced by a combination of Saddle Leather (Smooth Leather) and Seat Leather: Nappa, Nubuck or Suede Leather.

Please note that the pictured leather colours are not necessarily true to tone, and serve only as a sample photo. With leather being a natural product, slight differences are possible as well as small scarring. These are not production errors but rather a sign of authenticity and high quality leather. Depending on your computer screen and resolution settings, colours may differ and guarantees are not given.

Seat Leather

Your can choose from two different types of leather when deciding on your seat leather. Nappa Leather is a soft, pebbled leather with a lightly structured surface. Nubuck Leather is of velvet-like feel with a suede-like structure on the surface, which helps tremendously with rider adherence.

Special colours available upon request: Blue, Green, Yellow, Red, patterns, etc.
